  Optical films are everywhere in our lives, from precision and optical equipment, display equipment to optical film applications in daily life; for example, glasses, digital cameras, various household appliances, or anti-counterfeiting technology on banknotes can all be called extensions of optical film technology applications. Without optical film technology as a development foundation, modern optoelectronics, communications or laser technology will not be able to make progress, which also shows the importance of research and development of optical film technology.

  With the synthesis and modification of polymer film raw materials and the development of flat film biaxial stretching technology, many biaxially stretched films with excellent performance have emerged one after another. Currently, the main flat film biaxially stretched films (abbreviated as: biaxially stretched films) are BOPP, BOPET, and BOPA.

According to the different raw materials used, plastic film products can be divided into polyethylene film, polypropylene film, polyester film, nylon film, polyvinyl chloride film and polystyrene film. Among them, BOPP, BOPET and BOPA made by biaxial stretching process are the three main plastic film packaging substrates and are most widely used in the packaging field.

  In recent years, optical grade PET polyester film has been widely used. Especially in the manufacturing process of liquid crystal display screens, PET optical film is an indispensable material, such as diffusion film, brightness enhancement film, anti-glare film, etc.
